Wow!! What a great experience, thank you for an awesome introduction to the world of ”Buying abroad”. That beautiful country you grew up in.
Thank you for sharing its beauty and history with us.
The West Retford was charming and comfortable and the staff were fun. Our days were well planned and the antiques were wonderful. Most of all, though it was wonderful to get to know both of you great fun, both of you. It really comes through in all you do
Gratefully and with love to two new friends
P.S. Now to sell enough to afford the next trip
Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year !
Thanks so much for making the transition into my new venture easier – the inventory I bought on the tour/trip will give me a great store opening.
It would have been much harder to start op without the tours and I appreciate all your hard work behind the scenes.
All the best Gaere & Carolyne.
It was so good to see you again. Thank you for delivering my items. Everything arrived still ”old” but in very fine condition.
It was like Christmas unpacking and reliving the memories of a wonderful trip and new friendships. The Cotswolds are just beautiful and thank you especially for making that part of the trip possible.
Please send warm wishes to June and tell her I missed her a lot on this trip.
Merry Christmas and may the New Year hold health and happiness to you and those you love.
Fondly, Jan Slagle
Thank you for sending information about our antique tour in England.
Jan, Joyce and I are glad we can fly out of the USA on Oct 13th as per. our plane tickets. We think it will be a plus for us to arrive a day early and appreciate you having a place for us to stay on the 14th.
This will be my first trip to England and I’m just a bit excited. My Curtis Grandfather left Appledore, England and fought in the Revolutionary War.
We understand that you are a great tour host and that you take good care of your people.
See you on Oct.14th at the airport.
ALL the best
It was fun going again on your “shop-till-you-drop” antiquing tour.
I’m going to sell, sell, sell and go again next year .
Here is a picture of our whole disorderly crew and one of you going over our lists on the last evening.
Your son Neil is a delight.
You have been so kind to arrange for a extra nights lodging in Manchester.
I guess we were just too anxious to get our tickets together.
I am so looking forward to this trip. Being an antiquing novice / amateur, I look forward to learning from the expert.
Thanks again for your generosity in “taking care” of Jan, Phyllis and me when we arrive in Manchester.
With great appreciation for your years of hard work, time and effort towards keeping ADASTA in existence and moving us forward. A huge thanks from all ADASTA members.
